Fat to Fit at 59

My quest to lose 50 pounds in 150 days. (Now that you know about it, I'm committed.)

Day 29—Got Buggs? December 14, 2009

Biggest Loser contestants used the BodyBugg to monitor their daily calorie burn.

I confess I’ve never become a Biggest Loser fan. I’m not sure if there’s something else I watch at the same time or what, but not being a regular viewer, I never saw this gadget at work.

But I’m all for whatever works to keep us more aware of what our bodies are doing! If this gadget helps us visualize our daily calorie burn, and consequently be able to more efficiently monitor our calorie intake, go for it!

If you need more information to help you make up your mind, you can watch Biggest Loser contestant Colleen Skeabeck’s YouTube review of the Body Bugg at  www.dietsinreview.com/videos/bodybugg-review-by-biggest-losers-coleen-skeabeck/ .

’Til tomorrow, stay confident and resolute. We can do this!

  1. Lauren Says:

I use a heart monitor when I exercise. It’s really nice b/c it tells me my target heart rate zone, my current heart rate, how many minutes I was in my zone, average heart rate, how many calories I’ve burned as I’m exercising and during the entire workout, my weight and body mass index. It’s also waterproof so I can use it if I ever find a decent pool to swim in!

Funny you should mention that, I received one as a gift just today from my wonderful, thoughtful daughters and their hubbies/sig o’s! Can’t wait to try it out! Love ya!
